Students with disabilities
If you are a student with a disability as defined in Article 3(1) of Law No. 104 of 5 February 1992, or with a disability rating of 66% or more, ER.GO offers a range of services specifically designed for you.
You can request this type of certification from the relevant authority (INPS) once you arrive in Italy.
Special provisions relating to benefits
The scholarship and accommodation are awarded for two semesters longer than for regular students. Please remember to submit an application every academic year. |
To be eligible for these benefits, you must have achieved the required merit score by 10 August of each academic year. Please refer to the merit tables. |
No confirmation of the assignment is required. |
Access to accommodation is restricted to Non Resident students. Accessible accommodation is available. In exceptional and duly documented cases, ER.GO may consider applications for accommodation submitted by Commuter students as well. |
Benefits for students with disabilities
If your ISEE and/or ISPE do not meet the thresholds set out in the announcement, you may apply for accommodation on the basis of merit alone: in other words, you must have achieved the required merit to be eligible for the benefits. |
If you are allocated accommodation, you can apply for a personal assistance service, which provides support with daily household tasks. The service is provided by approved organisations in the sector, service providers or students working on a voluntary basis. |
You can apply for grants to cover the purchase of specific educational aids, which are allocated as a priority to students with physical, sensory or speech impairments, on the basis of a quote or invoice. The grant is subject to an assessment of the suitability of the aids purchased. |
