The transfer is the formal deed with which you officially move your career from an academic institute to another. The passage, on the other hand, is the change of course within the same academic institute. Open a ticket via the SCRIVI service: the office in charge will review your situation and provide you with detailed information about your specific case.

Recognised credits or credits refer to credits earned during a previous university programme and deemed valid by the University for the new degree programme as well, for example following withdrawal or transfer. However, they are not always counted by ER.GO towards the merit requirement set out in the call for applications for the benefits.

Yes, but please note: you will be required to meet the merit criteria for your first year of initial enrolment, both for admission and for the renewal of benefits. Following a transfer, your length of enrolment (i.e. the actual year of attendance) no longer coincides with the year of enrolment on the new course. Seniority is calculated from the year of your first Matriculation at an academic institution (e.g. if you were enrolled in the first year in 2021/22 and are admitted to the first year again in 2022/23 following a transfer, you will be considered to have been enrolled for two years, so you will be required to meet the academic standards expected of a second-year student).

Credits earned in your previous course are only valid if they are recognised in the new course for which you are applying for benefits.
