When to confirm the forms

You must confirm the forms using a PIN or PEC if:

• you are applying via a CAF
• you are a student not resident in Italy and therefore do not have a SPID, CIE or CNS, and you are applying independently by logging in with your university credentials or with your ER.GO credentials if you are enrolled on an AFAM course.

If you have applied for benefits yourself, logging in with SPID, CIE or CNS, you must not finalise your application using a PIN or PEC under any circumstances.

You need to log in to the application portal again, click on the form you wish to complete, click on ‘Complete’ and then enter your PIN.

You no longer need to complete your application via PEC if you log in using SPID, CIE or CNS. Otherwise, you will receive an email at your PEC address, to which you must reply – without including any text – in order to complete your application.
