How accommodation is assigned
Find out about the way ER.GO accommodation places are assigned and the procedures to be followed.
Wait for the publication of the ranking lists
After the submission of the benefits application, wait for the publication of the ranking lists. The date of publication varies according to the year of enrollment (freshmen and years after the first).
There is not a single ranking list for all the students: in fact there are different ranking lists, based on different criteria (year of enrollment, study cycle, EU or non-EU students, etc.).
PAY ATTENTION!
Being eligible in the ranking list doesn’t entail being an assignee: students are summoned till the assignment of all the available beds.
Students are summoned according to the assignment criteria set out in the competition announcement:
85% to EU freshmen of the first and second cycle courses |
6% to non-EU freshmen of all the first and second cycle courses |
9% to students enrolled at the years after the first one of the first and second cycle courses or enrolled at PhD courses, Specialization schools and the SPISA. |
Convocations
The convocations for the assignment of the accommodation start from September for students who are eligible and under no condition, already enrolled at the course for which they applied for benefits, according to their position in the ranking list.
If you are summoned, you receive a message in your Dossier Utente with all the necessary information: summoning date, time, assigned residence, documents to be submitted and useful indications to take possession of the assigned accommodation.
If you cannot show up at the appointment or you are no longer interested in the accommodation, you must communicate it according to the indications in the summoning message.
If you don’t do that and you don’t show up, this will be considered as a renunciation; in this case the scholarship amount will be automatically recalculated from Non Resident Student to Resident Student scholarship amount.
If you are not summoned by 30th September, afterwards you’ll get a message asking if you are still interested in remaining in the ranking list for a possible summoning later on. If you do not answer the message, this will be considered as renunciation to the accommodation.
Ranking lists scrolling
Starting from October, students are summoned by scrolling the ranking lists because of possible renunciation of the already summoned students. If your eligibility was suspended or conditioned and in the meantime the situation was settled, you can be summoned depending on your position in the ranking list.
BE CAREFUL!
It’s not possible to give accurate information on when the summoning will take place: the scrolling of the ranking lists takes place according to the answering time of the students who have already been summoned and thus ER.GO cannot predict when and if one can be summoned.
If you had correctly renounced the accommodation or if you are not summoned, you can nevertheless keep the Non Resident Student scholarship amount, by providing a paid domicile for at least ten months in the academic year.

No. This just means that you meet the requirement set by the competition announcement.
Students are summoned for the assignment of a bed by scrolling the different ranking list. In some towns the number of eligible students could be higher than that of the available accommodations and not all students will be assigned a bed.
We cannot make predictions because it depends on the decisions made by the students before you in the ranking list. The more renunciation we receive, the more we can scroll the ranking lists.

You must carefully follow what is communicated to you in this regard through the invitation letter that you have received in your Dossier Utente.
